Using Water and Gas is a technology based on splitting water on board a vehicle, and using the resulting gases not to drive the vehicle - but only to boost the efficiency of its combustion.

Rule 240 and Rule 280 simply states that the carrier can or will rebook the passenger to ensure that passenger reaches his or her final destination regardless of class and that includes FIRST CLASS if a coach seat can’t be found . Towards the end of my Tenure in the airline business my employer ( NWA ) took the position that WE would NOT use Rule 240 / 280 and removed all PAPER MCO’s ( Miscellaneous Charge Order ) and PAPER FIM’s ( Flight Interruption Manifests ) from the ticket cabinet and locked them up.

With the new age of Electronic Ticketing ( E-Ticket ) I’m sure they felt they wouldn’t have to resort to using the RULES and paying another carrier to except their ticket at THEIR EXPENSE.

Electronic tickets can eaisly be transferred to another carrier without issuing a paper ticket and the in 5 field ( Remarks section ) of the PNR Passenger Name Record ) a note
with a Rule 240 / 280 so the new carrier can except the passenger for travel with no out of pocket expense to the passenger.. This is called - Lost Revenue - and a No No among Airlines that are claiming they need the Customers money to stay a float . What happen to Customer Service ? Isn’t funny how with the new E-Ticketing is issued without the Contract of carriage ? UNLESS the passenger calls the carrier and asks for a PRINTED COPY it’s a good bet that the uninformed passenger is the best type of customer because as all the CARRIERS know there is no longer any loyalty to one carrier. The passenger today shops for the best price . So they remove the meals , magazines , blankets and pillows . Charge you to check your baggage and make you print your own boarding pass .

Perhaps the FRONT LINE AIRLINE EMPLOYEE finding oneself standing at the Main Ticket counter ( Alone due to limited staffing ) with a long line of SCREAMING CUSTOMERS all in your FACE might consider if its worth what your PAID , the ABUSE your required to take and how easy it could be if your employer had told you about rebooking on another carrier and Rule 240 or Rule 280.

As for us old farts that are so happy to be away from the airport these days and have found Employment that equals what the airlines are paying you to Supplement our Airline Pensions that the carriers have carefully underfunded , I have just one question for you . — Would you like FRIES with that ? —-

I don’t know what Thursday you are refering too, but it must be the Thursday before they started counting the bodies in the hospital.
HRW has come up with a lot of different statistics and claims they are not finished counting yet.

After they counted the bodies lying in the basement (the only part that’s left) of the hospital, the number was 133.
A view days later they came with new number stating the death toll was at least 600, after counting the bodies in the street.
Now a spokesman of HRW says that the amount of death can be well over a 1000 because a lot of bodies are burried in the backyards of houses. They are still counting.
